Last night, after my fiance Colette was relieved from her duties at work, we picked up her mother and went down to the brand new restaurant “Colony Grill” on Broadway in Milford center. The entire restaurant was decorated with framed photos of men and women who served in the military. Some were more recent photos, and some were much older photos.
About a month ago, while the restaurant was still under construction, they asked the public for photos of family members that were in the military to hang on the walls there. We submitted a couple of photos but were unsure if they would use ours or not. Sure enough, behind the bar all the way to the left was a photo of my fiance’s grandfather. We think it is a great way to honor our service men and women. Make sure you go down and check out the many photos on the walls there!
Oh, and their pizza is pretty damn good too. That dough is delicious! Unlike the other Colony Grill’s in Connecticut, this one only serves pizza and booze. 😉
